Our Staff Team
Rich Humphrey – Teaching Pastor
Rich and his wife Catherine have been married since May, 2000 and have four children: Mary Frances, Jackson, Caroline, and Graham. Rich is a Louisville native and became a follower of Christ as a teen and saw His walk with God dramatically deepened as a student at UK. After graduation he served for ten years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, where his first assignment was the University of Tennessee. After spending four years in Knoxville, he led a staff team that planted a Campus Crusade ministry at Middle Tennessee State University. While in Murfreesboro, Rich had the privilege of being part of the planting of Fellowship Bible Church and God captured his heart for pastoral ministry and church planting. Rich completed his seminary degree in 2006.
Rich loves watching UK basketball, playing any sport, hanging out with his kids, and doing almost anything outdoors.
Andy Barlow – Worship Pastor
Andy and his wife Caitlin have been married since 2006 and have one daughter, Emerson Ilene. Hailing from the great state of Wyoming, Andy became a follower of Christ as a high school student while reading the book of Romans. He later attended Middle Tennessee State University where he met Rich Humphrey, and the two were privileged to be involved in the planting of Fellowship Bible Church in Murfreesboro Tennessee. This experience profoundly shaped Andy’s vision and passion for the local church and convinced him that God was calling him to pastoral ministry. In God’s sweet providence, Andy and Caitlin moved to Louisville to attend Southern Seminary just as Rich was preparing to plant Fellowship Church Louisville. Andy joined the staff team in 2008 and began serving full-time in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Middle Tennessee State University as well as a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

During this crucible he was engaged to Ross and redirected his energies toward ministry. Tom graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, attended the Church Planting Residency Program at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Ark., and is one of the founding pastors of Fellowship Church Louisville.
Having been instrumental in giving leadership and direction to the establishment of Fellowship Church Louisville, Tom is currently leading the team for Fellowship Louisville’s first Church Plant, Fellowship Church of Cleveland (OH).
Charlie Sims – Student Ministry Director
Charlie grew up going to church and got really good at “being Christian”. So good, in fact, that he, in large part, was doing it apart from Christ. Over the years, and culminating in his time at the University of Louisville, God was slowly showing him that Christianity was not about following the rules, it was about a relationship. At some point between the time when he was 9 and his freshman year in college, Jesus saved him. Charlie quickly dove head first into seeking to participate in the work of the gospel, first on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, and then by serving with Fellowship Church in the areas of college ministry, missions, and prayer.
Charlie grew up in Elizabethtown, and has been in Louisville ever since college. Charlie has been married to Kari Sims since May of 2005, they are expecting their first child in June. Charlie enjoys UofL sports, exercise of almost any kind, chopping wood, being with people and watching movies.
Jake Todd – Outreach & Service Director
Jake was raised in Reed, Kentucky on his Granddad’s farm. After graduating from high school, he attended Ole Miss where he met his bride, Lezlie, during their freshmen year. Jake and Lezlie were married in May 2006 and spent the next 3 years at Fort Stewart, Georgia with the Army. Jake and Lezlie moved to Louisville in 2009 and have been a part of the Fellowship family ever since. Jake’s primary responsibilities include developing partnerships in the community for avenues of service, and ministering to our college students. Jake is also currently attending Southern Seminary.
Outside of school, Jake is pursuing the craft of working wood. Jake and Lezlie have two daughters, Isabel, and Eleanor.
